What does Sport Horse Insurance cover?
SEIB x British Showjumping’s flexible Sport Horse Insurance allows you to tailor your cover to meet your needs. The policy is on an “agreed value” basis, so there’s no need to prove the value of your horse/pony, should the worst happen.
Cover can include:
- Up to 20%* discount for British Showjumping members
- Optional £10K vet fees cover (per claim and within the policy year)
- Emergency Colic Surgery Costs up to £2,500 automatically included
- Repatriation costs automatically included, up to £500 to get you and your horse home if your horsebox breaks down anywhere in Western Europe;
- Post-mortem and disposal costs up to £400 automatically included
- Clear-cut Wobbler syndrome coverage automatically included
- Option to buy cover for conditions/areas of the horse’s anatomy that may be subject to an exclusion**
