Following several rounds of nominations and judging, the finalists have been announced for the SEIB Yard of the Year Awards 2023, in association with Horse & Hound and British Equestrian.  The judging panel have whittled the many nominations received down to finalists in each of the 6 categories. 

The SEIB Yard of the Year Awards were set up by SEIB to celebrate excellence in teaching, training and horse care in yards across Britain. Horse & Hound came on board to support these awards in 2022 and this year British Equestrian have added their support by rewarding and recognising the vital services provided to the equestrian industry by livery yards, riding schools, RDA centres and competition venues. 

The winners of each of the categories in the SEIB Yard of the Year Awards 2023, in association with Horse & Hound and British Equestrian will be announced at the SEIB Awards luncheon at Dorney Lake, Berkshire in July. The proprietors of the finalist yards have been invited to these prestigious awards.

Each short-listed yard has undergone a nomination process from clients and the general public and then judging by a panel resulting in a short-list. Each short-listed yard has been requested to submit a video detailing the highlights of the yard and what it offers to clients. These short-listed yards have then been narrowed down to the finalists. The final decision on the winning yard in each category will be announced at the SEIB Awards.

The judges on the panel in the SEIB Yard of the Year Awards, in association with Horse & Hound and British Equestrian included Mr Richard Ramsay (Team Ramsay Horton), Sarah Jenkins (Horse & Hound), Winnie Murphy (British Equestrian) Emma Bedford (Your Horse Live), Petra Ingram (Horseworld) and Cheryl John (Livery List).

The winners of each of the six categories of the SEIB Yard of the Year Awards, in association with Horse & Hound, will be announced and have their trophy presented at the luncheon.
